We are thrilled to announce Melissa Jaggers as the next Chief Executive Officer of the Community Resource Center. She officially begins her new role on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Melissa (pictured right) brings deep nonprofit leadership experience, most recently as President & CEO of Alignment Nashville, where she helped drive innovation in public education. Her reputation for building cross-sector partnerships to address complex community challenges is well established across Middle Tennessee.
“Melissa has a proven track record of turning partnerships into real, measurable impact for the communities she serves, and we are so excited to see her bring that leadership to our organization. Equally important is what we found in her personally — a genuine care for community that aligns with how CRC has always done business,” said Tara Tenorio, Board Chair.
Melissa shared her excitement about joining the organization:
“I’m honored to join an organization so deeply committed to helping expand access to essential hygiene resources with dignity and compassion. I look forward to listening, learning, and building relationships with the many partners, volunteers, donors, and supporters who help make this work possible across Middle Tennessee.”
We are also deeply grateful to Tony Zuazo, whose steady leadership as interim CEO maintained organizational stability and helped us begin mapping toward key opportunities for long-term success. Tony will continue supporting Melissa through July 15 before rejoining the board as Vice President.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we welcome Melissa and enter this exciting new chapter for CRC!
